Pebble Beach Automotive Week is always an exciting entry on the calendar where gearheads, collectors and industry members gather in California each year to marvel at the finest vehicles hailing from all different eras. This year is no exception with several manufacturers choosing Monterey to unveil new models, concepts and special editions — read on to see our top eight picks.
Polestar Concept BST
Making a North American debut at Monterey, the Concept BST is a stunning take on a race-ready electric roadster featuring a vented hood, big splitters and diffusers, GT-style spoiler and huge 22-inch forged aluminum wheels. Coated in classic motorsport silver paint, the car also wears bespoke livery.
No technical specs are provided, though it’s closely related to the Polestar 6 convertible — said to be utilizing the same 800-volt architecture and 650-kilowatt dual-motor powertrain from the Polestar 5 sedan that pumps out 884 horsepower.
2026 Mercedes-Maybach SL Monogram Series
Touted as “the sportiest model in Maybach brand history,” the Mercedes SL receives the ultra-luxe Maybach treatment including an illuminated chrome grille, intricate MAYBACH lettering, optional hand-sanded Obsidian Black Metallic-sprayed hood, rose gold accenting on the headlight housings, acoustically insulated soft top and much more. Lowering the convertible roof reveals MANUFAKTUR Crystal White Nappa leather upholstery and additional chroming.
A 4.0-litre biturbo mill, mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission, delivers 577 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels. Expected arrival is the second half of 2025.
2026 Rimac Nevera R
If the 1,813 horsepower of the 2024 Rimac Nevera EV isn’t enough for you, how about the Nevera R tuned to 2,107 horsepower with an estimated 0 to 300 km/h time of 8.66 seconds?
This track-focused version of the hypercar boasts an even lower stance, 20-inch/21-inch wheels front/back, carbon ceramic brakes, a fixed three-point wing and more aggressive body aero together increasing downforce by 15 per cent, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Cornering is tighter than the standard variant as well thanks to a new All-Wheel Torque Vectoring system.
2025 Lincoln Navigator
The fifth-generation Navigator emerges looking sleeker than ever before sporting a flush-mounted grille that houses an intersecting light bar, which complements the full-width tailgate LED and 3-D badging. For the first time, up to 24-inch high-gloss Luster Nickel alloys are being offered. Inside, there’s a flat top-and-bottom Wollsdorf leather-wrapped steering wheel and 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D Audio System.
All trims utilize a 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine producing 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque, standard four-wheel drive and adaptive suspension, and can haul up to 8,700 pounds when equipped with the available Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package. Sales begin next spring.
2025 Porsche 911 Turbo 50 Years
Marking the half-century anniversary of the venerable 911 Turbo, Porsche launched the exclusive 911 Turbo 50 Years edition paying homage to its ancestor.
Based on the 911 Turbo S introduced in 2019, the exterior graphics are inspired by the 911 RSR Turbo presented at the Frankfort Motor Show in 1973. The Anthracite Grey colour, found on the rear wing blade and apron, mirror base and air intake pieces is another nod to the original. A neat turbocharger badge on the engine cover reads 1974-2024. In the cabin, McKenzie tartan seat cushions and door panels hearken back to an earlier era. Limited to a fitting 1,974 units, prices start at $291,700 USD.
2025 Lamborghini Temerario
Behold the successor to the popular Lamborghini Huracán: the 2025 Lamborghini Temerario, a twin-turbocharged V8 PHEV monster boasting three electric motors and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission putting out 907 horsepower and 538 lb-ft of torque. Capable of revving up to 10,000 RPM, the sound coming out of the exhaust, which is routed from the manifold in a way to optimize acoustics, surely sounds awesome.
The second “super” sports car under the Performance Electrified Vehicle umbrella after the Revuelto, design-wise the Temerario is classic Lambo with its short overhangs, shark nose and ground-hugging stance. The unique hexagonal daytime running lights installed under the sliver headlamps double as air tunnels to guide cool air to the massive 10-piston front brakes.
2025 Bentley Continental GT Speed x Mulliner
Pebble was the destination of the fourth-gen Bentley Continental GT Speed US premiere, the luxury automaker showing off a special, orange-themed version of the V8 hybrid created through in-house personalization and coachbuilding division Mulliner.
The Orange Flame Satin paint takes up to 55 hours of craftsmanship to apply and finish, contrasting against the gloss black trim and matching 22-inch ten-spoke wheels. The Gravity Grey and Brunel interior leather surfaces are quilted and contrast-stitched in Mandarin orange. Finally, the premium Naim for Bentley stereo provides the aural icing on the cake.
Bugatti Bolide 100-year Anniversary Edition
Serving as a tip of the hat to the legendary Type 35 racecar that debuted at the 1924 French Grand Prix, the Bolide 100-year anniversary edition features all kinds of historical easter eggs. The “Grand Prix Blue” exterior is a play on the former’s “Blue de Lyon” paint, and the rainbow-hued blade connecting the rear panel to the spoiler contains the racing colours of the different nations competing in early Grand Prix events.
The cockpit is finished in pure carbon fibre and supple leather and contains special anniversary embossing and a special plate depicting both the Type 35 and Bolide. Under the hood is still the 16-cylinder W16 mill generating an incredible 1,578 horsepower on 98-octane fuel.
