2026 Hyundai IONIQ 9 Canadian debut
Hyundai has a new EV flagship in the three-row IONIQ 9, recently revealed to Canadian audiences at the Montreal Auto Show.
The zero emissions SUV possesses some funky futuristic styling courtesy of the “Aerosthetic” design language interpreted via the signature Parametric Pixel small cube lighting, aerodynamic side profile with the sloping rear roof, and boat tail rear. Inside there’s room for up to seven occupants, fully reclinable first and second row seats that have massage functionality, sliding centre console and 1,323 litres of storage space when the back bench is stowed.
Powered by a high-capacity 110.3 kilowatt-hour battery and available in both rear and all-wheel drive formats, the former boasts a maximum range of approximately 620 kilometres on a single charge and an output of 215 horsepower. Dual motor specifications should be released closer to the expected spring 2025 launch date.
2025 Zeekr 7X
Sadly, the Geely-owned Zeekr isn’t coming to North America any time, as the Chinese luxury EV automaker announced a premium electric five-passenger crossover is bound for select European markets this summer.
Leveraging relationships with sister brands Volvo and Polestar, the vehicle is designed in Gothenburg, Sweden and looks the part featuring sleek body panels, short overhangs, slim Matrix LED headlamps, full-width taillights and large alloy wheels. The interior has a minimalistic aesthetic and a massive 16-inch touchscreen display serves as the infotainment command centre. AI-driven ZeekrGPT voice concierge, 5G connectivity and location-based technology allows the system to offer real-time contextual information to any questions asked.
Sold in a variety of configurations, Long Range models utilize a single 310-kilowatt motor at the rear axle and a 100-kilowatt-hour battery pack delivering 615 kilometres of range, while the Performance gains a motor at the front as well pumping out 630 horsepower and 524 lb-ft of torque.
2025 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Intensa
For the 2025 model year Alfa Romeo is adding the Intensa special series two-tone variant for the Stelvio, Tonale, and Giulia vehicles.
The Stelvio receives 20-inch black alloy wheels with light gold diamond-cut finish and matching brake calipers, Italian flag adorned side mirrors, black and tan upholstery, embroidered Intensa logo on the arm rest, and more. A Convenience package is also included bundling handsfree liftgate, Thatcham security alarm, and active driving assist.

Bentley Bentayga EWB Azure Riviera Collection
Unveiled at the Brussels Motor Show, Bentley says the Bentayga EWB Azure Riviera Collection represents “a unique blend of craftsmanship, designed with bespoke exterior and interior elements inspired by the world of yachting.”
Coated in stunning Aegean Blue paint, where the luxury SUV really shines is in the cabin. Chiropractors were consulted during the development of the Airline Seat Specification system, which uses algorithms to make 177 micro adjustments across six pressure zones to help minimize occupant fatigue on long drives. Intricate embroidery can be found on the light-coloured leather headrests and seatbacks, and a polished plate on the doorsill reads Riviera Collection: hand crafted by Bentley Mulliner.
Joining the exclusive collection is a bronze Continental GTC sitting on 22-inch 10-spoke wheels, and showcasing green and camel upholstery and a Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain making 771 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque.
2025 Fiat Grande Panda
Also making an appearance at the Brussels Motor Show was the Fiat Grande Panda, slated to arrive in the UK later this year.
The cute-ute, first previewed at the brand’s 125th anniversary celebrations last summer, is available as a hybrid and full EV. The latter utilizes a front-mounted 83-kilwatt electric motor and a 44-kilowatt-hour battery providing 113 horsepower and a maximum travel range of approximately 320 kilometres. Interestingly, the vehicle includes an integrated retractable charging cable rather than a traditional portable cord to conserve cargo space. DC fast charging is supported up to 100 kilowatts, getting the Panda from 20 to 80 per cent in under 30 minutes.
Conceived at Centro Stile global headquarters in Turin, Italy, the Grande Panda pays homage to the with its small boxy shape and rectangular front fascia.
