E-commerce has been growing in popularity for quite some time, and received a real shot in the arm over the last 15 months with more people staying at home due to COVID-19. Now even Mitsubishi Motors is answering the digital call via an all-new online platform on their website.
A complete overhaul offers customers nearly the complete experience of purchasing a car, virtually: such as browsing local dealer inventory; estimating the value of a trade-in (subject to final inspection) and having the amount reflected in the final cost; applying for financing, and even scheduling a test drive.
In addition, users are able to customize and save multiple vehicle builds, down to preferred paint colour, which shows detailed and transparent pricing for any specific configuration. They also have the ability to dial in on a specific feature to see precisely what it does, from a rooftop cargo box to optional wheel locks, and communicate directly with the store of choice if there are still questions.
Run out of time while shopping? No problem, as sessions can be saved and resumed whenever convenient 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The new platform is powered by Toronto-based digital retail solutions provider Motoinsight, and is being launched in conjunction with the release of the automaker’s redesigned lineup that includes the flagship 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander.
