2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB
Early next year, the 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB joins the family featuring an updated look and fresh tech.
To bring it aesthetically closer to the rest of the EQ family, the compact crossover wears a solid black panel star pattern grille between the LED headlamps showcasing revised signature daytime lighting. A new flared front bumper accentuates the width of the vehicle and the taillamps have similarly had the inner elements remixed. In the cabin, users can control onboard functions via new steering wheel touch panels. Brown lime open-pore wood trim is now available.
The upgraded Mercedes-Benz User eXperience infotainment system is more intelligent capable of understanding natural speech, and the 10.25-inch standard virtual instrument cluster is customizable in three styles: subtle, sporty and classic. The optional Burmester surround sound stereo gains Dolby Atmos lending additional clarity and depth to music. A front-wheel drive EQB 250 is set to arrive in Q1 and an all-wheel drive model will follow later.
2024 Ford F-150 Lighting Platinum Black
For a short time, customers can order the F-150 Lighting in a cool Platinum Black colour. And here’s the twist — it’s the blue oval brand’s first ever matte-wrapped production truck.
This unique exterior treatment is complemented by 22-inch matte black wheels and lug nuts, black Ford badging, power-retractable running boards with Agate Black gloss accents, soft-shell black tonneau cover, smoked LED bar, dark Nirvana leather upholstery, numbered aluminum plates in the frunk and driver door jamb and more.
The production run is limited to 2,000 units, and deliveries begin in 2024.
2024 Hyundai Santa Fe
The fifth-generation Hyundai Santa takes a radical departure from previous iterations and is reborn as a big, boxy three-row SUV boasting a longer wheelbase and premium creature comforts not usually seen in the segment.
Interestingly, the Hyundai emblem provides the inspiration for the H-shaped headlights and square chin giving the vehicle a distinctive oncoming appearance. A high hood, sharp fenders wide tailgate and matching H-shaped tails helps tie everything together visually. Inside, there’s a 12.3-inch Panoramic Curved Display, UV-C sterilization tray and first-row Relaxation Seat with Leg Rest.
Under the hood is either a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine or a 1.6-litre turbocharged hybrid powertrain. The former is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission while the latter, a six-speed automatic. Full specifications should be revealed during the Santa Fe’s debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November.
