2024 Jeep Gladiator
Launched in 2019, the Jeep Gladiator has quickly gone on to win over fans of the marque looking for increased utility. For 2024, the pickup is being refreshed inside and out.
The seven-slot grille now possesses slimmer black textured slots, neutral grey metallic bezels and a cool body-colour frame on all grades except the Willys that boasts a gloss black surround instead. A soft-top is standard equipment on the entry-level Sport as well. Inside, there’s a new 12.3-inch Uconnect 5-powered touchscreen and an instrument panel wrapped in a soft-touch material.
Also making an introduction is the optional Jeep Adventure Guides. Baked right into the infotainment system, Subscribers get access to an over-the-air updatable catalog of detailed off-road trail maps containing turn-by-turn instructions across the U.S. and Canada.
Nordman North 9 SUV
Scandinavian tiremaker Nokian Tyres has just launched a standalone value brand called Nordman, and one of the first products in the lineup is the North 9 SUV.
This winter tire is designed specifically for large and heavy vehicles and is sold in both studded and non-studded versions up to 20-inch sizing with a speed index of T (190 km/h). Delivering performance in all cold-weather conditions, the aggressive tread pattern features 3-D siping and signature lightning-shaped Snow Grip Boosters that bite into soft-snow-covered surfaces. A high concentration of natural rubber ensures the compound remains soft even in frigid temperatures.
The North 9 SUV, and its passenger car counterpart, is available later in the fall. Eventually, the portfolio will expand to include all-weather and all-season products.
Monster Jam
Everyone’s favourite monster truck spectacle returns for 2023, and the international action-packed motorsports event is making one Canadian stop in Vancouver from Oct. 6 to Oct. 8 at the Pacific Coliseum.
Guests are treated to eight professional male and female drivers putting on a show in 10.5-foot tall, 12,000-pound trucks putting out 1,500 horsepower — like the world-famous Grave Digger built out of a 1951 Chevy Panel Wagon — as they go head-to-head in freestyle, skills and racing competitions.

2025 Mercedes-AMG GLC Coupe
The Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S Coupe will be the first in its segment to debut the E PERFORMANCE plug-in hybrid powertrain — combining a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, Electric Drive Unit mounted to the rear axle, and high-capacity 6.1-kilowatt-hour lithium battery utilizing tech borrowed from the brand’s Petronas F1 team — outputting a total 671 horsepower and 752 pound-feet of torque.
Unlike the standard roof on the regular GLC, this variant has the s sloping roof giving the crossover a sleeker appearance. The headlights connect to the top of the exclusive vertical-slatted black grille matching other dark trim pieces such as the body aero and big rear diffuser integrating quad trapezoidal exhaust outlets. Inside the flat-bottom steering wheel, aluminum shift paddles and pedals and various other AMG-specific accoutrements match the sporty exterior.
The GLC 63 S E PERFORMANCE Coupe is slated to launch next year, joined by a detuned GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe offering.
